Rashtriya Poshan Maah was celebrated during the month of September under Poshan Abhiyan to generate awareness about the importance of health and nutrition. National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) conducted an offline awareness programme for class 9th students on the topic “Obesity in school going children during pandemic” today. Dr. Sheshadri, Deputy Director, NIPCCD and Ms. Ritu Pradhan, HOD Government Home Science college shared valuable information on promoting healthy lifestyle and diet modifications to cope up with pandemic related obesity.
