Description:
The NSS Camp 2024, themed Sankalp—Celebrating Women Empowerment, spanned seven enriching days, fostering values of service, teamwork, and learning.

Day 1: The camp commenced with a prayer and a self-defense session by ASI Sanjay, empowering students with vital safety techniques. A cyber security session by Ms. Meenakshi and volunteer Gurpreet Kaur enlightened participants about digital safety. The day ended with a Tug of War game, promoting teamwork.

Day 2: A visit to the Chandi Mandir War Museum and War Memorial inspired patriotism. Students explored the valor and sacrifices of the armed forces, appreciating their contributions to the nation.

Day 3: Participants attended a self-defense session, an organ donation awareness lecture, and a tote bag painting activity by Virya Foundation, emphasizing SDGs. A donation of ?2,000 reflected the NSS spirit of service.

Day 4: On Christmas, the team spread joy by donating 100 caps, 100 blankets, and organizing a bhandara for the underprivileged, celebrating the essence of giving.

Day 5: Activities included self-defense, plantation of 100 trees, distribution of goods to supporting staff, and a creative stone painting session, fostering environmental consciousness and gratitude.

Day 6: A road safety session by ASI Sanjay and CT Manjeet highlighted responsible driving and adherence to traffic rules, contributing to community awareness.

Day 7: The closing ceremony, Sankalp—Celebrating Women Empowerment, featured captivating performances and speeches. Highlights included Himanshi’s self-defense shadow act, Harman’s soulful song, and a motivational address by the NSS Captain Ishanvi Soni. NSS Liaison Officer Dr. Nemi Chand, ASI Sanjay and Chaitaly Nandy Ma’am were honored for their contributions.

The NSS Camp concluded with a spirit of empowerment and unity, leaving participants inspired to serve and uplift society.
