Group Commander Brigadier Harpreet Singh and Commanding Officer Col Anupam Singh Randhawa visited the school on 29 April 2024 for the Institute visit and to interact with the NCC unit of the school. To welcome them, a programme was organized by NCC cadets of Sacred Heart School. The event was presided over by Group Commander Brigadier Harpreet Singh as the Chief Guest , Commanding Officer Col Anupam Singh Randhawa as Guest of honor, school manager Reverend Sr Lucy, sisters, teachers and NCC cadets . The programme began by invoking the blessing of Lord Almighty through prayer and with the ceremonial prayer dance followed by lighting of the lamp.
Commander Brigadier Harpreet Singh and Commanding Officer Col Anupam Singh Randhawa were presented planters as a token of gratitude. 3rd Officer ANO ma’am Ms. Anjana gave a presentation to the guests, giving a glimpse of the school including the NCC unit and cadets who brought laurels to the school. Post which Chief Guest was invited on the stage for an interactive session with the cadets. He spent quality time interacting with the cadets and engaged in fruitful and informative discussions about discipline, leadership, and the importance of teamwork. The officer shared his insights, experiences and motivated the cadets to excel in their respective fields. Sir was presented a souvenir for gracing the occasion by the school manager Reverend Sr. Lucy. To bring in the patriotic fervor, cadets recited poems and songs stirring the spirit of nationalism. The event ended with the rendition of an NCC song post which echoes of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Long Live India’ reverberate across.
The cadets benefited greatly from the interactive session, activities, and positive feedback provided by the officers. The visit further motivated the cadets to strive for excellence and uphold the values of discipline and leadership.
