Description:
Embodying the spirit of patriotism and love for the motherland, Sacred Heart organized a series of activities under the banner-‘Meri Maati Mera Desh.' The campaign led by our Principal Rev. Sr. Arti, NSS Program Officer, Ms Chaitaly Nandy, and the ANO of our school, Third Officer Anjna Thakur, began with an 'Amrit Kalash Yatra'. It was our humble and heartfelt tribute to the valiant freedom fighters who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom. The students collected soil from the school campus which symbolized our deep connection to the motherland. The solemn ’Panch Pran' pledge was taken by the students reaffirming their commitment to the values for which our freedom fighters laid down their lives.
The NSS Volunteers and the NCC Cadets marched in a spirited rally, chanting patriotic slogans and singing patriotic songs to celebrate the spirit of India and promote a sense of unity and patriotism among students. The event also featured display of national tricolour and posters of our valiant freedom fighters.
