The Pre-Primary Wing of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School ushered in the much awaited summer break with vibrant and heartwarming celebrations that perfectly captured the spirit of the season. The commencement of the summer holidays was marked with thoughtful and joyful activities across all pre-primary classes.
Class Nursery set the tone with an adorable Watermelon Party. The young learners crafted cute watermelon-themed handouts and enjoyed a refreshing celebration that celebrated the essence of summer in the most delightful way. In addition, acknowledging that Father’s Day falls during the vacation period, the Nursery students created charming, handmade cards to honour their fathers—simple yet heartfelt gestures of love and appreciation.
LKG students welcomed the holiday season with great enthusiasm. They enjoyed posing for cheerful pictures at a specially decorated photo booth, wearing sun hats lovingly prepared by their teachers and holding summer-themed handouts. The activity brought smiles and laughter, making it a memorable send-off into the holidays.
UKG children celebrated the last day before the summer break with a cozy in-class movie time, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment. They also engaged in a fun-filled worksheet activity, colouring and decorating popsicle images using bindis—a creative combination of art and sensory play that the children thoroughly enjoyed.
Class I students expressed their excitement for the upcoming break through a colouring activity based on the theme of their dream summer vacation destinations. The activity sparked imagination and gave them a chance to visually share where they would love to go during their holidays.
The day across the Pre-Primary Wing was filled with joy, colour, and creativity—a perfect start to the summer break amalgamating into a cheerful pause to rejuvenate and return with renewed energy.
