Description:
The Government of India has launched the Anaemia Mukt Bharat strategy with the target to reduce anaemia in the vulnerable age groups such as children and adolescents in life cycle approach. In order to address this serious global public health problem, screening camp for an anaemia was organized in school campus in collaboration with Don Bosco Navjeevan Society, Chandigarh. Test included complete blood count of the child. The students who were having haemoglobin levels less than 10 were screened and were given iron supplements free of cost.
