Description:
As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety and health education, a Talk on First Aid Injury Protocols was organized for the primary students of the Health Club. The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of knowing how to respond effectively in emergency situations.
The talk was conducted by Dr. Sonia, the school's medical officer, who emphasized the critical role of first aid in preventing further injury and saving lives before professional medical help arrives.
Students were introduced to the basic principles of first aid, including staying calm, ensuring the safety of the area, calling for help, and administering care without causing further harm. The session covered common injuries such as cuts and bruises, burns, nosebleeds, fainting, sprains, and fractures, along with clear, step-by-step instructions on how to handle each situation.
This educational talk not only equipped students with practical knowledge but also encouraged them to be more aware, responsible, and confident in responding to emergencies, whether at school, home, or in public spaces.
By empowering our students with these life-saving skills, we take one more step toward building a safer, more compassionate community.
