United Nations Day is celebrated every year on 24th October to mark the formation of the United Nations (UN) in 1945 after the Second World War.
The day reminds us that we all belong to one big world family and must work together for peace, friendship, and harmony. The UN also strives for education, equality, health, and care for our planet.
A special assembly was conducted where students learnt about being kind, fair, and responsible global citizens. The programme concluded with the UN Day Pledge, spreading the message of peace and unity.
