Description: A seven day NSS camp was held at Sacred Heart premises from 29th December to 4th January wherein the volunteers got an opportunity to undertake activities which enriched them at physical, mental and emotional levels. Every day began with yoga and meditation under the able guidance of Ms. Chaitaly which was followed by running, cleaning of the premises and sharing meals. All the seven days were meticulously planned and were marked by interactive and motivational talks of eminent speakers on varied subjects. The representatives of Chandigarh police demonstrated self defence strategies. Ms. Neha, a member of Mohan Foundation, motivated the volunteers for organ donation. Ms. Anju Mehta shed some light on the importance of incorporating Artificial Intelligence in educational system and Ms. Vibha Ray shared advantages of inclusive education. The volunteers lived upto the motto of NSS - “Not me but you” by distributing woollen clothes and groceries among the residents of Shastri Nagar. Rev. Sr. Nisha congratulated everyone on the successful culmination of the camp and the worthy volunteers were felicitated with the trophies.
