Description: As part of the Regional Language Learning Week, students actively participated in enriching sessions of Malayalam and Sanskrit under the Bhartiya Bhasha initiative. In the Malayalam class, learners picked up 25 commonly used sentences, counting from 1 to 50, and were introduced to the Malayalam alphabet, enhancing both spoken and written skills. The session concluded with a few lines of a Malayalam patriotic song, sparking cultural pride and enthusiasm. In the Sanskrit class, students revised previous concepts and explored personal pronouns — ???? (I), ????? (you), ??/??/??? (he/she/it) — a key step in sentence formation. They also learned how to tell time in Sanskrit and memorized the days of the week (e.g., ??????? – Sunday, ???????? – Monday). The session ended on a patriotic note with the recitation and explanation of a Sanskrit patriotic song, fostering a deeper connection with India’s linguistic heritage. Both sessions were interactive, educational, and left the students inspired to embrace the richness of Indian languages.
