Teaching magic words to children is extremely important, especially during their foundational years of learning . Words like please, thank you, sorry and excuse me act like secret ingredients that make social interactions smoother and more respectful. When children learn and use these words, they develop good manners, build stronger relationships and gain confidence in expressing themselves. It is almost like giving them a little superpower!
To help students understand different communication styles and express their emotions appropriately the following activities were conducted:
A short video on magic words was shown to the students.
Preprimary teachers discussed the importance of using magic words in daily life.
Teachers also talked about different emotions and guided the children on how to express their feelings respectfully and effectively.
