Spreading Love and Gratitude this Raksha Bandhan
In the true spirit of Raksha Bandhan, students from the Social Service Club visited the Institute for the Blind and the Police Station, Sector 26, to celebrate the festival with compassion and respect.
At the Institute for the Blind, students tied rakhis to the students of the institute, sang cheerful songs, and shared sweets, bringing smiles and joy to all. The warmth of the interaction created a bond beyond sight — one of friendship, care, and mutual respect.
The visit to the police station was equally heartwarming. Students tied rakhis to the police personnel, expressing gratitude for their dedication and service in keeping the community safe. Songs and sweets added to the festive spirit, making the officers feel truly appreciated.
This heartfelt initiative not only strengthened the values of empathy and gratitude among students but also conveyed the message that festivals are best celebrated by spreading joy to those who protect and inspire us.
