Description:
In order to mark the 'World No Tobacco Day', the students of the school took the initiative to sensitize community about the ill effects of consuming tobacco on individual's physical and mental health.
* The following activities were undertaken to sensitize the students:
* The supporting staff of the school took pledge and came forward with strong commitment to fight against this social evil and to eradicate it for good.
* On this occasion, the students formed a human chain that reflected their powerful sense of unity,solidarity, collective action, purpose and willingness to stand together to spread awareness about the risks associated with tobacco use.Holding hands together indicated their determination to support one another to eradicate this social evil to make community free from tobacco use.
* To spread awareness students made posters depicting ill effects of consuming tobacco on one's health.
* A video was made and uploaded on school website to sensitize the parents and the students of the school and the community at large.
