Description:
To survive in peace and harmony we all must have feeling of empathy and love for all. Having firm belief in this dictum a seven day NSS camp was organized from 23rd Dec 2018 to 27th Dec 2018 in Sacred Heart School on the theme ‘Communal Harmony’. Revered Sr. Nisha inaugurated the camp and motivated all the volunteers to keep serving the society as good samaritans and do their utmost to bring smiles to the under trodden and weak strata of the society. Variety of gifts and woolen clothes were distributed amongst underprivileged. Various activities such as cleaning campus and its surroundings, yoga sessions, salad making competition and self defense classes were undertaken by the volunteers with great zest and zeal. The camp concluded with a closing ceremony where the Chairperson of the NGO ‘PARMARTH’ Ms Rocher Roy and the Sarpanch of the adopted village Mr Satbir Singh were honored with the token of love and a bouquet of flowers. Winner of various competitions were awarded with prizes and certificates. Revered Sr. Nisha congratulated all the winners and made them conscious of their social responsibility towards the community so that they stand true to accomplish its motto ‘Not me but you’.
