Description:
Students of class IV got a chance to visit the verka milk plant, Mohali. The educational trip gave the students information about how milk is procured from the villages in huge tanks, pasteurized, processed, packed and dispatched to reach their homes. It was quite an interesting trip. Fully automatic system, right from procurement to packaging was very impressive. The huge churner to extract butter and butter milk amused the little heartians.
4 lakhs 8 thousand litre milk is dispatched everyday from the plant. Students then spent some time in the beautiful park of the Verka Plant with swings and traditional tableaus.
