Loads of adventure and oodles of fun and frolic! Sounds lucrative, doesn't it? That's exactly what the week gone past was for the Heartian Fun lovers. Students of classes VI-XI went on excursions to various surrounding areas-Hills of Kasauli, Science City Kapurthala and Kurukshetra, a city of rich Indian heritage.
Class VI, VII, VIII enjoyed the glory of historical legacy in the divine land of Kurukshetra. Their learning experience dripped with excitement when they visited Kalpana Chawla Planetarium and Panorama. The students brought back fond memories of thrilling scenes and sights filled with a beautiful vision of life and this mystifying world.
The science enthusiasts of IX and X had a field day at Science City, Kapurthala where their visit was replete with a Laser show, Cine Mania 3D show, models of Satellites and the Earthquake Simulator. The informative clipping on the Grand Canyon was an Eye Opener. All in all a fruitful day!
The charming Kasauli Hills came alive with the euphoric presence of Heartians as they trekked to the Manki point, the helipad, relished the piping food in the cool climate, sang and had a whale of a time enjoying the bounties of nature. Some shopping enthusiasts could not contain their urge to shop and came home with souvenirs for friends and family from the lakkad market.
A perfect way to make learning a fulfilled and memorable experience.
