Description:
On 22nd July 2025, Saisha Tuknayat spoke in the school assembly as a Peer Educator to raise awareness about child labour. She highlighted how millions of children are still forced to work in unsafe conditions, missing out on education and a safe childhood. She also shared that in India, employing a child under 14 is illegal under the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, and is punishable by up to 2 years of imprisonment or a fine of ?50,000. Through this speech, She urged everyone to stand against child labour and support every child’s right to learn, play, and dream.
