Description:
The 10-day Bharatanatyam workshop at Sacred Heart School concluded with a grand finale marked by vibrant performances from over 70 students aged between 3 and 17 years. Conducted by acclaimed gurus Rahul and Nandini Gupta, the event showcased classical pieces like Pushpanjali, Alaripu, and Varnam, earning a standing ovation from the audience.
Renowned Kuchipudi dancer Ms. Janki Anjani graced the occasion as chief guest and lauded the students’ dedication and artistry. Principals from various city schools also attended and appreciated the cultural richness on display.
The workshop, supported by Principal Sister Venita Joseph, was a celebration of Indian classical dance that instilled discipline, focus, and cultural pride in all participants.
