Description:
Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. The Golden Jubilee Annual Function celebrations of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh commenced on a celestial note. Thanksgiving Holy Mass was offered at the school to express the most profound gratitude to the living God. Most Rev. Anil Jose Thomas Couto, Archbishop of Delhi Diocese and Rt. Rev. Ignatius Mascarenhas, Archbishop of Simla-Chandigarh Diocese, graced the occasion as chief celebrants. The celebrants were led to the Altar by fifty students in beautiful golden ensemble. The ceremony began with reminiscences of the inception of the school in 1968 and the illustrious fifty year journey of reaching this exalted position. His Grace blessed and congratulated the school for playing pivotal role in imparting quality education and values. Earnest prayers were offered for peace of mind and well being of the management, staff, students, their parent and benefactors. It reinvigorated the spirits of all those present to live by” the Seraphinian values with pride and delight”.
