Description: The School celebrated the Feast Day of St. Claire, one of its patron saints, in a special programme held in its auditorium. The programme commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the inspiring life of St. Claire, highlighted her dedication to a life of simplicity and compassion. This was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamb and a serene prayer dance presented by the School’s cultural team. A speech by a student speaker shed light on the saint’s remarkable journey- from her noble upbringing in Assisi to her choice of a life devoted entirely to God and the poor. The highlight of the celebration was a beautifully enacted play depicting key moments from St. Claire’s life and her teachings, bringing her values to life for the audience in a way that was both moving and relatable. Principal Rev Sister Venita Joseph addressed the gathering, drawing parallels between St. Claire’s values and the challenges of the 21 century.
