Bharatnatyam performance wins hearts

The closing ceremony of the Bharatnatyam workshop was organized at Sacred Heart School in Sector 26. More than 70 students aged between three and 17 years participated in the ten-day program.
Kuchipudi dancer Janaki Anjani was present as the chief guest at the event. The students performed traditional Bharatanatyam ravanas like Pushpanjali Aripu and Varnam, showing remarkable mastery in expressions, hand gestures and rhythm. The audience stood up and applauded both the young dancers and their gurus. Rahul and Nandini Gupta said that they are very happy to see the enthusiasm and respect of the young dancers. Teaching them this divine art has been a heart-touching and unforgettable experience.
