The workshop teaches them mudras, basic dance steps, and basic Bharatanatyam performances like Pushpanjali, Alarippoo and Varnam. The workshop is not just a dance training but an effort to connect the girls to Indian culture and tradition, where they are learning the art with respect, discipline and dedication. This is the fourth Bharatanatyam workshop organized at Sacred Heart School, reflecting the school's commitment to cultural education. On this occasion, we would like to express our special thanks to the Principal of the school, Sister Venita Joseph, without whose support and encouragement this workshop would not have been possible. Her contribution in the promotion of Indian art and culture is commendable. Rahul and Nandini Gupta said, "We are extremely pleased to see the enthusiasm, dedication and respect for art of these girls. It is a pleasure and a proud experience for us to teach them Bharatanatyam." This workshop is an important step towards inspiring young
