Description: Highlighting the founderess’s contributions not just in education, but in health care and social reform, Sr. Venita reminded students that the legacy of CFMSS is one of active hope—a belief that faith must be lived through action. In a world where technology connects us yet empathy is often lost, Mother Seraphina’s life offers a model of integrated service, where intellect, faith, and compassion work hand in hand to uplift society.
She concluded with a powerful call to the students: “Let Mother Seraphina’s life ignite a fire within you—not just to succeed, but to serve. Let her resilience remind you that obstacles are opportunities in disguise. And above all, let her legacy inspire you to be leaders of hope in your homes, your schools, and the world beyond.”
The assembly concluded with a rousing rendition of the Institute Song by the school choir, filling the campus with a sense of pride and unity. As part of the ongoing Institute Week, Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School has planned a variety of activities, including inter-house and inter- school competitions, cultural events, and special assemblies to commemorate Labour Day and Mother’s Day—emphasizing gratitude, community spirit, and family values.
The celebrations reflect the school’s deep-rooted mission to nurture responsible citizens who are intellectually equipped, spiritually grounded, and socially committed—just as Mother Seraphina envisioned.
