Miyawaki Mini Forest inaugurated at Sacred Heart School

Description: Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, strengthened its commitment towards environmental sustainability. The school's eco club, Woodsia Alpinia, inaugurated a Miyawaki Mini Forest in the school premises. Indian Forest Service Officer and present DTO-cum-Secretary, Road Transport Authority, Panchkula Haratjit Kaur Brar attended the event.
The ceremony began with the school prayer followed by an enlightening address on the importance of the Miyawaki afforestation method, a technique known for its dense, fast-growing native forests that restore biodiversity and improve air quality. Brar was given a symbolic green welcome, signifying the school's dedication to environmental conservation.
