Eco Club, Woodsia Alpinia of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26 inaugurated Miyawaki Mini Forest in the school premises. Indian Forest Service Officer and present DTO-cum-Secretary, Road Transport Authority Panchkula Haratjit Kaur Brar attended the event.
The function started with school prayer and was followed by Miyawaki afforestation method.
An enlightening address was held on the importance of reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. The school, known for its dense, fast-growing native forests, has introduced a technique that restores biodiversity and improves air quality. The chief guest was given a green welcome.
