Mej Gen Vikramjit singh Gill was the chief guest at the Independence day programme. The event featured a rendition of the national anthem, A cultural programme which started with 'Matribhumi Ko Naman'. Tiny tots exhibited their enthusiasm and patriotism through an acrobatic dance. The program delved into the 'Life Of a Martyr' , a tribute to the revolutionary, Matangini Hazra , who laid down her life for the nation.
