Description:
The 10-day Bharatanatyam workshop culminated at the school with the Heartians, who were attired in the striking ethnic dresses, charming the audience with their electrifying performances. It was a moment of pride for their guru Nandini Gupta and her team who had trained the Heartians in Bharatanatyam. The dance recitals and performances were set to traditional ragas and the rhythm of Aadi Taal. The audience, which mainly comprised the parents, was dazzled by the ability of the young dancers to emote with their expressions as well as through various dance mudras. The chief guest, Rev Brother Philip Pinto, was highly impressed with dance renditions and intricate footwork, complex hand movement and statuesque postures. He congratulated the participants and the school management for endorsing the vibrant Indian culture among the children. Rev Sr Arti, Principal, commended the efforts of Nandini Gupta and the students.
