The curtains were drawn on the SDG Summit with a grand closing ceremony. The ceremony commenced with salutations to the God almighty in the form of a prayer dance. Rev. Sr Arti in her address commended the efforts put in by the organizing committee, teachers and students to make the summit a rousing success. The chief guest, Mr Shyam Kapoor, regional officer, CBSE congratulated the school for its efforts to envision, plan and execute the summit during such unprecedented and challenging times. The students interacted with the guest of honour, Dr Kiran Bedi, in the open forum. The participants waited with baited breath for the announcement of the results of the various competitions and shouts of glee of the winners could be felt in the virtual mode too. The summit director, Mr Priyanshu Grover and the convener, Mr Adarsh Kumar Singh also addressed the audience and expressed their gratitude. The ceremony was marked by songs, western fusion dance and bhangra performance. Ms Sapna Maini extended the vote of thanks to all those who worked tirelessly to make this summit a success. Finally the 3 day event culminated with the announcement of the much sought after “Best School” trophy which was won by Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27.
The second day of the summit witnessed animated round table discussions on sustainable goals in MUN conference. Debatathon was marked by spirited and eloquent debating. Speech competition was outright display of oratory skills. Student teams gave neck to neck fight to clear the preliminary rounds of Quiz Wiz competition. All in all the competitions helped the students to explore their true potential. So all are winners.
“Well begun is half done”. The grand opening ceremony on virtual mode set the ball rolling for the competitions

faculty coordinator, Ms Jasmine Gill and the summit director, Mr Priyanshu Grover also addressed the
students.
The much awaited SDG Summit 2022 commenced on virtual mode with the grand opening ceremony today morning.
Our principal, Rev. Sr Arti welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of sustainable development

students. Mesmerizing dance performances and poetry recitation enthralled the audience. Day 1 promises
intense debating and discussions in MUN, speech competition and Debatathon.
Mr Adarsh Kumar Singh, Co-President and COO, Aspirant Learning (A.I.I. Learning Foundation), envisages that the SDG Summit is a step forward in the realization of dreams of many. Meticulous planning in his role as a convener has laid the strong foundation for this event.
