MARCHING TOWARDS THE AURA OF EXCELLENCE

We, at Sacred Heart, take utmost pride in confessing, that Heartians have left no stone unturned to prove their mettle, best. Audacity and strive for distinction, seems to reflect in the strenuous efforts being put by 32 Guides of our school committed, to the prestigious and renowned Scouting and Guiding association of India, the Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG).

Set up in 1911, Girls Guides Programme aims at, giving girls and young women, dynamic, flexible and value based training in life skills, leadership and citizenship. Furthermore, BSG also intends to build a constructive and self- reliant society while handing over the responsibility to youth, as the ultimate torch bearers of the nation.

Started in April 2020 in our school for the very first time, the tints of hard work and sincerity had soon, echoed their vibrance in the souls of our school Guides from the first day, online sessions, conducted by Ms. Preeti Swamy (State Coordinator) commenced in full swing.

Our Guides’ fervour is highly applaudable, as their wholehearted participation added glorious hues to the celebrations of Scouts Scarf day held on 1st August, 2020 under the guidance of Guide Capt. Ritika Azad. They draped in, scarfs demonstrating the real essence of this day, that is to make the "Spirit of Scouting" visible to the masses: ‘Once a Scout - Always a Scout!’. Heartian Guides later pledged to adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour and contributing their every bit

Besides, of awareness activities, morale development and virtues have been well equated with scouting in the programme, and hold an esteemed importance as the Guides were instructed to do their daily good turn and maintain their personal diary for the same.

Patriotism and selfless service for the society, is one of the main pillars, in which BSG take upmost pride and contentment in, and our Heartian Guides, also are resolute to carve their own contributions towards their motherland as they learnt the importance of sacrifice and nation love in the form of upholding flag etiquettes and singing tunes of flag song.

Our school Guides are on the threshold of encrypting a world, as united as a fist and independent society where togetherness and care, delve in the streets and where life skills dominate each and every soul. May the Almighty bless our guides in attaining their goals and in scaling their own heights in the unlimited sky of empowering a constructive change, and for the betterment of nation. May their work continue as they march towards the noblest of deeds.
