Girls of our school participated in UT Inter School Lawn Tennis Tournament U-19 held at Lake Club on 23rd and 26th August and secured the first position. The team comprised of:

• Konika Singh Dhull (XI-C), Jyotsana Yadav (X-C), Arshiya Chaudhri (X-C), Khushi Malik (X-C).
• They were awarded with gold medals.

4^th Sub-Junior/Cadet boys/girls official kyorugi/poomsae & open board breaking district Mohali Taekwondo Championship finished on 11^th August 2019. This Championship was organized by Taekwondo Association SAS Nagar Mohali on 10^th & 11^th August 2019 at GMADA Sports Stadium, Sector-78, Mohali, by Punjab Taekwondo Association (Regd.)

1. 250 students of different schools took part in this district championship. 28 students of Sacred Heart participated in this tournament & won 7 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze medals. Sr. Nisha Principal of Sacred Heart School & Sports Incharge Junior wing Mrs. Anamika & Taekwondo coach Vinod Kumar congratulated the winners in the school assembly. The winners have been selected for the upcoming Punjab State Official Taekwondo Championship.
2.  The following students won Laurels for the School:-

Saupin’s School Sector 32, Chandigarh organised a Model United Nations (MUN) on 10^th & 11^th August 2019. The following girls brought laurels to the school:-

1. Bhavika of class XI-C (Best Delegate) represented French Republic in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). She was awarded with a trophy & a certificate.
2. Aditi Duggal of class XI-C (Special Mention) represented United States of America in United Nations General Assembly. She was awarded with a trophy & a certificate.
3. Viranchi of class IX-B (Best delegate) represented Spain in United Nations Committee on Status of Women (UNCSW). She was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.
4. Roohani of class XI-C (High Commendation) represented China in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). She was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.
5. Kudrat of class XI-C (High Commendation) represented DPRK in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). She was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.
6. Trisha of class IX (High Commendation)
7. Tanmaya of class XI-C (High Commendation) represented Sonia Gandhi in All India Political Parties meet (AIPPM). She was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.

Haripriya Gautam (IX-A) and Harshita Pathania (X-B) participated in the Wordsmiths 2019 held at Strawberry Fields on 9^th and 10^th August where they secured the second position in Radio News Cast Category and were awarded with the certificates.

Aashna Bagri of class XI-D participated in Kaun Banega Superstar International Maheshwari Youth Festival held in Bengaluru from 9-11 August, 2019 in Dancing Superstar Junior Category and won the second position. She was awarded with a trophy and a certificate along with a scholar- ship which will cove cost of the training she wishes to take from any national coach.

Aramya Jaiswal of class XII-C participated in Wordsmiths 2019 held on 9^th & 10^th August in Strawberry Fields, Sec-26, Chandigarh where she bagged the third position.

Rhythm Kaushal and Simarpreet Kaur of Class XII-B secured first position in movie making competition held at St. John’s High School, Sector 26 Chandigarh on 8^th August 2019.

An inter school Vistavity Competition which was a psychosocio fair was organized by St. John’s High School, Chandigarh. A total of 14 schools had participated. In model making competition our school secured the first position. The Team comprised of:

They were awarded with winner trophies and certificates for the best model.

Bhavya Sharma and Arpita Bhargawa of VI-D participated in Hand Painting Competition held at St. Xavier’s School, Sector-44, Chandigarh where they bagged the second position.

Ayushi (X-C) participated in the Xavarian Mashup conducted by St. Xavier’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh on 6^th August where she secured the third prize in the “look alike freedom fighters” category.

Two students of the Primary Wing viz. Lavanya Kapur of IV-A and Natanya of III-B participated in an Inter-School Competition ‘Antriksh Manthan’ held at RIMT World School, Chandigarh on 6th August 2019. The team won the second position in “Universe of Dreams” competition and was applauded for their efforts. They were awarded a trophy and a certificate.

Tanmaya Kalra (XI-C) took part in Hansraj Public School, Model United Nations (HPS MUN) 2019, where she won the title of best delegate & was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.
