Primary wing students represented the School in the Carmel Word Fest, 2014 held at Carmel Convent School from 25th-28th August, 2014 and walked away with positions in various competitions. Matisha Kansal of class III-D participated in Personification of Scientists and bagged Second Position.

Heartians are back again with a lot many glories and victories in their kitty. An Inter School Skating Competition was held at Skating Rink, Sec-10, Chandigarh from 22^nd to 26^th August.

Aurya Aggarwal of Class IV-C participated in SBI Inter School Painting Competition and got the Consolation Prize.

IMAGES, an NGO formed by PEC students, organized a competitive event ‘The 26^th Infinity- A Narration Gamble’ for the school students on 23-Aug at Punjab Kala Bhavan. Six teams comprising two students each participated from the school. The school team won the First Three positions

The team comprising Zinnia Girdhar and Megha Jindal bagged the First position. They were awarded with certificates, coupons and a cash prize of Rs1000.

Anandita Bharti and Abhipriya were adjudged Second. They were awarded with certificates, coupons and a cash prize of Rs500.

The Third prize was bagged by Tanya Syngle and Tiara Das. They were awarded certificates.

“Versatility -2014”, a poetry recitation competition was organized in Carmel Convent School on Wednesday, 20^th August. 16 schools from Chandigarh participated in this competition and students recited poetry ranging from 16^th century to 21^st, Thomas Campbell to Rabindranath Tagore. Sharmishtha Singh of class XI-C was awarded the Second prize while Shruti Sharma of Class XI-B bagged the First position. They were both awarded with certificates and trophies.

Bhanu Rakshita of Class VII-A participated in U-14 6^th Zone Roller Skating Championship and bagged Second position in Rink Race-I,II and II-A .

UT Interschool Badminton Tournament was held from 9^th Aug, 2014 to 13^th Aug, 2014 in which Sacred Heart School bagged the First Position in all the 3 categories i.e. U-14, U-17 & U-19.
