On the occasion of 'Rashtriya Ekta Divas' DAV Model school, Sector-15, Chandigarh organised various competitions.

Our school choir won the second position in the Inter School Jingle singing competition. The theme of the competition was National Integration. The team comprised of:

Advika Kanav of class IX-A won the 2nd prize in the Dance Competition conducted by Chandigarh Institute of Performing Arts at BAL BHAWAN on 28^th october 2014.

Students of class III & IV went for an Inter School Competition “Diwali Dhamaka“  to St. Xavier’s  School Sector-44-C on 20^th Oct,2014.

Our Students won prizes in various categories :-

1.       Aurya Aggarwal of IV-C won 1^st prize in the Drawing Competition.

2.       Sargam of III-B won 1^st prize in Thali Decoration.

3.       Jasmine Rai won 3^rd prize in Declamation. 

Camlin- lets have fun organized a Camel Art Contest on 17^th October. Over 9000 students participated in it and 7 girls from our school came back victorious. They all have been awarded certificates and silver medals. The girls are:

In the CBSE North Zone skating tournament held at KBDAV Sector-7B Chandigarh from 10th to 13th Oct, 2014 Manvi Goyal of class X-B won 2 gold medals in Rink Race-I and Rink Race-II in 14-16 age group quads.

In 6-8 years category quads, Shukti of Class-IA won 2 Bronze medals in Rink Race-II and Road Race.

Over 1000 students participated in this tournament and the Heartians proved their mettle once again!!!

Lakhmehar of class IX won the Sub Junior All India Tournament organized by the Indian Golf Union held in Jaipur on 9th-10th October. She has been awarded with a trophy. Lakhmehar is a new entrant in the arena of golf.

A natural golfer this one it seems!! 

You don't have to be great to start, you have to start to be great and our dear Heartians have surely made a start already on the journey to success. A 20 member delegation from our school participated in the Strawberry Fields Model United Nations Conference held at Strawberry Fields World School, Sector-26 from Oct 3rd to Oct 5th, 2014. They walked away with various Trophies and Verbal mentions. MUN Awaardees are:
