Our school has been awarded 'The Ideal School Award 2014' for its outstanding contribution in National Handwriting and Colouring Contest 2014 organised by Students Development Society in October.

In the same contest, our principal Sr. Nisha has been felicitated with the Ideal Principal award 2014 for her outstanding contribution in National Handwriting colouring contest.

Soumya Seth & Sanya Seth of class VII-B have been awarded with a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 12000 each. Sanjeevni of class X-D has been awarded with a certificate and a scholarship of Rs. 8000 by the UT administration in the same Tournament.

In a quiz competition held by Punjab Engineering College at Carmel Convent. Dyaumika of class VII bagged the 1st Position on 8th Nov, 2014.

The Quiz was Science and Aptitude bases.

Arushi of VIII-C, Mimansa Kaushik of VII-C, Elakshi and Esha of VI-A participated in the UT chess championship and bagged the 3rd position. They were presented with bronze medals.

In the National Handwriting and Colouring Contest 2014 organized by Students Development Society, Pune, Mansi Sharma of class X-D and Shivangi of class VIII-D were felicitated with the prestigious Kala Gaurav award. Shivangi was also presented with a cash prize of Rs. 7000.

Aieshna Bhan participated in UT inter school U-19 Girls chess tournament held at 38 model school and bagged the bronze medal.

A Table Tennis State Championship was organized by Chandigarh Table Tennis association. Dhriti Mahajan of class VII-A had participated in this tournament and won a Gold medal in the juniors category.

In the Collaborative competition under the category of classes IX to XII Aastha Goel, Bhavya Kaila and Asmita Kamboj of class IX bagged the 1st position.

A Chandigarh State Table Tennis championship was organized from 3^rd to 5^th November. Chinmayee of VII-D, Dhriti of VII-A and Riya of VI-D participated in the U -14 team event and received the 3^rd prize. Chinmaye and Dhriti participated in U-14 doubles category and won a bronze medal and Chinmayee received a bronze medal and a trophy in U-14 singles category.

The NCC cadets of our school participated in the annual training camp DCATC-1 from 29^th October to 5^th November 2014.

Our school team bagged the 4th position in the flag arena as well the drill. The team comprised of :

Isheta Bansal of class VIII secured the 3rd Position and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 500.
