Doon International School organized a Parliamentary Debate Competition on 6^th & 7^th August where about 60 teams from various school participated. Our School team, Comprising of Mishika Bedi of X-B, Isheta Bansal of X-B and Roveena of X-D bagged the first prize.

A Masterchef non-fire cooking competition was held at DAV-15,Chandigarh on 6^th August,2016 on the occasion of their Anniversary celebrations – ‘Ripples’.  Mehak Jindal of XII-C and Devika  of XII-C  participated in the same and secured the second position. They were awarded with certificate and trophies.

Lakhmehar of class XI- A participated in the Tricity Golf Championship 2016 organized by Panchkula Golf Club on 6^th August 2016. She won in Category ‘A’. She also won the nearest to the pin award.

A Model United Nations Conference was held at S.D. College, Sector-32 Chandigarh from 13 February- 14 February, 2016 where delegates from various colleges all over the country participated. Kanika Goswamy of class X-B was awarded with special mention.

Harshita of Class X-C participated in the Maths, Science and Computer Science Olympiads conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation. In the International Maths Olympiad, She achieved State Rank 2 and was awarded with a silver medal and cash prize of Rs. 2500. Also, in the National Science Olympiad, She achieved State Rank 17 and was awarded with a book set. In the National Computers Olympiad, She achieved State Rank 2 and was awarded with a silver medal and cash prize of Rs. 2500. 

An I.Q. Screening Test was conducted by The Times of India on 16 July 2016 for classes 6^th and 7^th. The names of the first rank holders are as follows :

Tanisha of VIII-B participated in the FIIT-JEE Talent Reward Examination and secured the second position at the Zonal level in Mathematics. Her Maths teacher Ms.Pooja was awarded with outstanding Mathematics Teacher award for the same.

A Model United Nations conference was held at Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh from 28^th to 31^st of July, 2016. Students from schools all over the country participated in the same. Bhavya Sharma of X-B, Bhumika of X-B and Yamini Isaar of X-A took part in the event and were awarded with special mention trophies in the CND, OPEC and KGB committee.

A drawing competition was organised by Limca book of records and 92.7 Big FM at Sukhna Lake on 22^nd July,2016. Janvi Kaplish of class X-B participated in the same and bagged the 1^st prize and was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.

The winners from the primary wing in the 15^th SOF National Cyber Olympaid and International English Olympiad conducted during the academic year 2015-16 were felicitated by Sr. Deepa, Head Mistress of the school. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners especially to Pulkita Jain for winning a Gold medal and Rs. 5000 and Matisha Kansal for winning a Bronze medal and Rs. 1000.

Mother Veronica Table Tennis Championship was held at Carmel Convent School on 1^st and 2^nd of August. Here our team begged the 3^rd position. The Team comprised of :-
