Manvi Goyal of Class XII-A was awarded by the Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki on 15^th August for her excellent performance in speed skating. She has been representing Chandigarh since 2012. Manvi has been the state, interschool and north zone champion for the past four consecutive years. Also, she has been CBSE national champion and has won over 100 medals in state and national level. We are proud of you Manvi!

Conquest IQ Olympiad, organized by Britannia group was conducted on 22^nd August 2016. Out of 115 participants, 52 were selected for final round and out of these 52 participants, 11 won the first position. Aashni Pabhi of Class XII-A participated in the Junior Nationals held at Bilaspur, Chattisgarh where she won a bronze medal in the team category.  In the sub-junior & cadet tournament held at Shri Hazoor Sahib in Maharashtra, she won a silver medal in the individual category and a bronze medal in the team category. In the 6^th federation cup held at Patiala from 16^th june to 18^th june, she won a silver medal in the team category. She also participated in the 61^st Asian Junior & Cadet Fencing Championship held at Baharain and in the same she was ranked 31st in the individual category and 5^th in the team category.

Tarini Goyal of class X-B was adjudged “Best Woman” in the 9^th Mayor’s Cup International
open chess championship held in Mumbai from June 2-9-2016. A total of 200 players from all over the world participated in the event. Tarini placed 11^th on the merit list and was given a cash award of Rs.10000.

Garima of class X-C participated in the CCC North zone Badminton championship. She won the 1^st position in the U-17 doubles category. She was also awarded with the best player award.

U.C,  an organisation that conducts various olympiads felicitated our olympiad incharge Ms. Bhavana Monga with “Best Teacher In-Charge” award.

Our Principal Rev. Sr. Nisha was awarded the “Best Principal award” for her kind & able guidance to the students. It is also our proud privilege that Sacred Heart school was awarded “Best School Award” for brilliant performance of heartians.

Heena Kang of Class VIII-C participated in the North Zone IGU Sub-junior & Feeder Tour Independence Cup held at Forest Hill Golf Club from 13^th to 15^th August and  she secured the second position in the category (13-17 years).

The girls of our school participated in 34^th Softball National Championship held at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Jalandhar from 6^th August 2016 to 11^th August 2016. They bagged the third position. The team included :
