Naisha Singla of IV-B participated in the CBSE North Zone II Skating Championship (Event 300 metres) organised by BDS Public School, Ajnala from 3^rd Nov to 6^th Nov in under 10 year Age group and bagged the second position.

Ebadat Sandha of Class VIII A participated in fifth Chandigarh State Choi Kwang Do Championship held on 6^th November at Choi Kwang Do Academy, Sector 16, Panchkula where she secured the first position.

Tarini Goyal of Class X D bagged the first position in the Junior State Chess Championship. She represented Chandigarh in the 46^th National Junior Open Chess Championship held in Andhra Pradesh, from 8^th October to 16^th October and secured the eigth position. She won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.3500 along with a certificate. Chandigarh Chess Association organized Sub-Junior State championship on Nov 5^th and 6^th.Tarini Goyal of X D won the first prize in the open section and Kashish Kaushal of IX C won the first prize in the girls section.

NSS volunteers Arshdeep Kaur of Class XI-C and Nikita Lakhanpal of Class XI-A participated in the 2016 Adventure Camp held at Atal Bhiari Vajpayee Institute for Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali. They successfully trekked 85kms at the height of 12,500 feet. In a ten day camp held from 20th October 2016 to 30th October 2016. They were presented with a certificate and a badge by the government of Himachal Pradesh.

CBSE organised Table Tennis Championship at Durga Public School, Solan from 26^th – 28^th October where Vasundhara of VIII C, Vipasha and Kashish of VIII D won the third position in U-14 category.

In the Same event,  Chinmayee, Khyati, Devashree won the the third position in U-17 category.

Harshita of X-C appeared in the Aakash National Talent Hunt Examination(ANTHE) 2016 on 23^rd Oct  2016. She has won All India Rank 59 in the Engineering Stream and was awarded a scholarship of Rs 10,000 for the next academic year.  The felicitation ceremony was conducted by Associate Vice-President – Mr. Lalit Narang and AGM Mr. Aman Gupta of Aakash Institute. Sr. Nisha handed over the certificate to her.  Well done Harshita!

Anshia Singla of Class XII A participated in Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula MUN 2016 held from 21^st to 23^rd  October 2016 and won the Highest Commendation Award in UNICEF representing PANAMA and was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.

Bhavan Vidyalya Panchkula organized a Model United Nations Conference from 21^st to 23^rd Oct 2016 and the following students bagged prizes in the same.

Yamini Issar of class X-A represented the National Security Guard and bagged the special mention award in the Cabinet Committee on security.

Bula kalra of class IX-D represented Zambia in UNICEF and bagged the special mention award.

In the NIC Camp, Anika Bansal and Kanika Gupta of class X-A won 2 gold medals each in declamation and Dance Competition. Kashish, Prakriti and Simone of class X also won gold medals in dance competition.

Garima of XI-B participated in 36^th North Zone Shooting Championship held at New Delhi where she won a Silver Medal in 10m Rifle Shooting.

Tanisha of VII-A and Tisha of VII-B participated in Chandigarh sub junior and junior badminton championship organized at Punjab university in doubles category from 4^th to 7^th October where they secured third position.

U-19 Chess Championship was organized by Chandigarh Chess Association at St. Xavier’s School in which Kashish of class 9^th bagged the first position. Kashish also participated in Interschool Scrabble Competition held at Stepping Stones School Chandigarh and secured the second position. She also participated in U-16 Chess prize money tournament organized by learning paths school, where she secured the first position in U-16 girls’ category. She was awarded with a trophy and cash prize of Rs 1000.
