Aashna Bagri of Class VIII A participated in the Dancing Star 2017 on 11^th January held at Bal Bhawan, Sector 23, Chandigarh where she bagged the first position.

Girls of our school participated in FITJEE talent reward examination held on 25^th Dec, 2016 and bagged many prizes:-

1.       Krishvika of class VI-D participated and secured third highest marks in mathematics. She has been awarded with a bronze medal.

2.       Tanisha of class IX-A secured second highest marks in mathematics. She was awarded with 2 silver medals.

3.       Harshita of class X academic session 2016-17 secured the highest marks in Chemistry and second highest marks in Maths and Physics. She has been awarded with 1 gold and 2 silver medals. 

Chitkara International School conducted second FEDE Rating Chess Championship from 21^st to 25^th December.  Kashish Kaushal of Class IX C bagged the award for the Best U-15 girl from Chandigarh. She was awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.2500/-. Tarini Goyal of X D also participated in the same event and secured the third position nationally. She got cash prize of Rs. 20,000/-.

Tejinder Kaur of Class VI A participated in a poster making competition during Chota Bheem Carnival organized at Holy Child School, Nabha Sahib on 11th December and she bagged the first prize.

Harleen Kaur of Class IX-D participated in 62^nd National School Games held at Bilaspur, Chattisgarh from 20^th to 24^th December, 2016 where she bagged the third position in Baseball U- 17 category.  

Sahodaya Social Service Club in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion had organized a blood donation camp in the school on 13^th August.  Students participated with great enthusiasm and encouraged many donors to come forward and join the cause.  The following students were specially felicitated for motivating donors to donate blood.
