Heartians participated in the National Dance Sports Championship 2016-17 organised by the Dance Sports Council of India held at DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh and bagged prizes in the solo dance category.  Aashna Bagri of Class VIII A and Kanhari of Class IX C won gold medals in the same. Eesha Richards of Class VIII A won the bronze medal.

The following girls participated in the National Dance Sports Championship 2016-17 organised by the Dance Sports Council of India held at DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh in the Duet Category. Nandika and Saanvi of Class VIII A bagged the second prize and were awarded with silver medals and certificates. Sanya and Ekjot of Class VIII A also secured the third prize and were awarded with bronze medals and certificates.

The following girls participated in the National Dance Sports Championship 2016-17 organised by the Dance Sports Council of India held at DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh.  Tia and Jaanvi bagged silver medals in the Folk Dance Category. Gurnoor participated in the same category and bagged the bronze medal. Khushi participated in the Bollywood Dance Category and bagged the bronze medal.

Heena Kang of Class VIII C participated in the Maharaj Krishan North Zone Juniors Golf Tournament held at Chandigarh Golf Club on 19^th and 20^th January and secured the first position.  She also participated in the Ace Junior League Match 4 held at Panchkula Golf Club on 15^th January, 2017 and secured the second position. 

A National Drawing Competition was held by ‘Schools India’ in which Anna Kapur of VII C won a Kala Guru Award and got a medal, a cash prize and merit certificate.  A Drawing Competition was held by Bani Tirtha School in which she got the second position and she was awarded with a trophy.

Tanisha of Class VIII-B participated in the second level of the Robochamps Olympiad conducted by Lakshya Forum Competitions where they won a merit certificate, trophy and a Samsung tab.

Mishti Bansal of Class VI-C participated in Christmas Art Competition at DLF City Centre, Chandigarh where she won an Art Kit, gift vouchers and a certificate.

DST Inspire organized a five day INSPIRE SCIENCE INTERNSHIP CAMP at DAV College Sector 10, Chandigarh. Over 150 students from Haryana and the tricity participated in the camp. Srishti Guglani and Zinnia Girdhar of Class XI participated in the same and got a chance to interact with various professors of prestigious institutions. The girls prepared various science models based on the theme ‘Eco friendly’ and ‘Make in India’.  Srishti Guglani was declared the winner in the writing competition relating to the same themes. She has been awarded with a trophy and a certificate for the same.  Both the participants also received gift hampers including bags, stationary and clipboards. Sr. Nisha, the principal of the school was also presented with a souvenir felicitating her for the excellence performance of the school.

Shreya Jindal of Class VIII-B participated in Robochamps Olympiad stage two and bagged the first zonal rank in Panchkula. She got a merit certificate, trophy and a Samsung tab. She also participated in Lakshya Talent Search Examination which was held at Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula and there she bagged the second zonal rank. She was awarded with a trophy and a merit certificate.

National Cyber Olympiad was organized by SOF for session 2016-17 where the following girls secured the first position.

Rishita Sharma of Class VIII C participated in the SGFI National Fencing Championship 2016-17 held at Karimnagar, Telangana from 11^th to 16^th January, 2017.  She won a gold medal in the Under 17 Girls Sabre (Team).
