Our students participated in the Tribune Cognizance Scrapbook making Competition and won prizes in various categories. Saanvi Verma of Class VII A and Pramiti of Class VIII C secured the second prize. They were awarded with  Certificates of Merit and Samsany Galaxy Tabs in a prize distribution function organized on 25^th February, 2017. Ashima Marwaha and Bhavika  of Class VII A won  consolation prizes and were awarded with certificates and  Milton bottles.

19-Feb-2017.  She secured the first prize .

A Model United Nations Conference was held at S.D. College from 10^th to 12^th February, 2017.  Tripty Wig of Class IX D represented LIBYA in the COPOUS and was appreciated with a verbal mention. A Model United Nations Conference was held at Panjab University College from 4^th to 5^th February, 2017 where girls from our school participated. Bula Kalra of Class IX D represented the Republic of Korea in the UNODC and was applauded with a special mention.  She was awarded with a medal and a certificate.

Mahika of X B and Annanya of Class VIII D (as a part of K.B. S. Dhillon Club) participated in the Senior State Cricket Tournament held in the month of February 2017 at Dev Samaj College for Girls, Sector 45, Chandigarh and their team won the first position in the same.

Tannishtha Jain of Class VII D participated in UT Interschool Drawing Competition. She secured the second prize and was awarded with a trophy and a certificate by T.S. Central State Library, Sector 17 Chandigarh. 

Vidyamandir Classes in association with Hindustan Times organized the final round of the Interschool BIG Quiz contest at St. Soldier’s School on 11^th February, 2017. Various schools of the city participated in the same and Bhumika of Class X B, Roshia of Class IX D and Tanisha of Class VIII B won the first prize.  The team received Mobile Tablets, a trophy and 90% scholarship for Vidyamandir Classes.

Amisha of class X B participated in the Daakroom Letter Writing Carnival organized by JK Paper Limited at Elante, Chandigarh on 12^th February 2017. She won the first prize in the postcard Making Competition (Sr. category). She was also awarded with a letter writing kit and a cash prize of Rs. 1000.

J.K. Paper Ltd in collaboration with Rotary Club organized Workshops and Competitions for inculcating the love for Paper and Post amongst the youngsters. Our students participated enthusiastically in the workshops held on 11^th February at Rotary Club, Sector 18, Chandigarh and the competitions held on 12^th February at Elante Mall.  The following students came out with flying colours in the competitions. Sneha Goyal of Class VII A participated in Postcard Making Competition where she bagged the third prize. She was awarded with a gift hamper and a cash prize of Rs. 500/-. She also participated in the Handwriting Competition and won a gift hamper for the ‘Best Handwriting’ in Chandigarh (under 15 years category) and a Letter Writing Kit for the ‘Best Stamp’ in the workshop. Aanya Bansal of Class VII D participated in the Postcard making competition and bagged the first prize. She was awarded with a gift hamper, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 1000/-. Harshitha Pathania of Class VII B participated in the Letter Writing Carnival and bagged the second prize. She was awarded with a gift hamper and a cash prize.

She was awarded with a medal, certificate and a gift hamper.

Following students of Class VII and VIII participated in the Dance Competition in Rose Festival Celebrations held on 12^th February, 2017 in the 10-15 years age category and secured the first position.  They were awarded with a trophy.
