A Model United Nations Conference was held at Ryan International School, Chandigarh from 27^th May, 2017 to 29^th May, 2017 where girls of our school participated and bagged various prizes:

Tripty Wig of Class X-D represented Serbia in ECOSOC.

Bula Kalra of Class X-D represented India in Human Rights Council while Kanhari of Class X-C represented Netherlands in General Assembly. All 3 of them won a special mention and were awarded with a medal and a certificate.

A Model United Nations Conference was held at Ryan International School, Chandigarh from 27^th May, 2017 to 29^th May, 2017 where Kashish of class X-C represented Belgium in Economic and Social Council and received a Verbal Mention and Bhanu Rakshita of class X-B represented Denmark in General Assembly and was awarded with a medal and certificate for ‘Best Position Paper.’

Ryan International School, Sector-49 organised a Model United Nations Conference from 26^th to 28^th of May.  Divya Sharma of Class XI-C represented France in the United Nations Human Rights Council and won the High Commendation. 

Divnoor Kaur Gill of  Class I-B participated in Rolling Tigers Skating Competition held on 20th and 21st May, 2017.  On 20th of May competition was organised in Manav Mangal School, Panchkula in which she got Third Position. On 21st May, Divnoor got Second Position in Road Race. 

Saumya Seth and Sanya Seth of class X-A participated in the Inter school pot decoration competition held at Gurukul Global School on 8^th May 2017 where they secured the First position. They were awarded with a trophy and a certificate.They also participated in the National Roller hockey championship held in Virar, Mumbai for which they have received a scholarship of Rs 50,000 each from the U.T govt.

Our School team participated in the Chandigarh round of world scholar’s cup held at Learning Path School on 7-8^th May, 2017 where Harshita Pathania of class VIII –B won the best scholar’s award in History. And Anahita of class VIII-B won the best scholar's award in S.S.T and Raizel of class VIII-C won overall best Scholar’s award. The team bagged a total of 29 medals and 3 trophies in various events. They will be representing India at the global level that will be conducted in Hanoi, Capetown.

In the Chandigarh round of world scholar’s cup held at Learning Path School on 7-8^th May, 2017, Trisha Gupta of VIII-B received an honour medal for best debate team. And Guneet Kaur of VII-B won a silver medal in team debate and a Silver medal in collaborate writing. In the same event, Shambhavi  Sinha of class VII-B received an honour medal for arts, literature, social studies, and a gold medal for all the subjects. She was also honoured for being a debate champion and for being the best debate team.

Raizel of Class VIII-C participated in International Social Studies Olympiad  and Talent Hunt Olympiads where she secured 1^st and 2^nd Rank respectively.

Our school Netball Team participated in 2^nd CLDAV State Netball Championship held at CL Aggarwal DAV Model School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh and stood 2^nd in girls Under-12 category. The team Comprised of:

Manvi Singla of XII A won the third position in the 15^th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship held at Jalandhar in May 2017.

  Doon International school organized Indian International MUN from 28^th to 30^th April, 2017. Following girls from our school participated in the same and were awarded certificates and medals.

Aramya Jaiswal of Class X-A represented MP-4 BJP and won a High Commendation award.

Bhanu Rakshita of Class X-B represented MP-5 BJP and won a Special mention award.

Sangeeta Cheema of Class X-B represented Indian Women Bowling Coach in BCCI and won a Verbal mention award. 

  Manika Mahajan of Class Vi-D participated in All India Multi Sports Championship 2017 held at Mohali, organized by Roller Hawks from 28^th to 30^th April, 2017. She bagged 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in Quad skate under 10-12 age category.
