Sacred Heart students once again brought laurels to the school by clearing the second round of SIP-Arithmetic Genius an all India Inter-School Contest held in July 2018. They have been selected to participate in the State-Level Final round. The winners for the contest are mentioned below:-

14^th National Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition was held on 29^th July, 2018 in Chandigarh. Many students won different positions under various categories. The achievers are:

Bhavika of class IX participated in the first Chandigarh Table Tennis Tournament which was held from 27^th to 29^th July and in the under 19 category. She got the third position for this she was awarded with a trophy.

In the Junior Category of interschool advertisement competition conducted by Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh Mahika and Mishita of class V, Kritika and Sahana of class VI, Sonali and Matisha of class VII bagged the second position. On 25th of July the school organized an Interschool Literature Competition in which Anwesha Saha of V-B and Ishmeet of VI-B, secured the second position.

Carmel Convent School organized a Youth PDC on 24^th July in which Tanmaya of X-A represented Amit Shah and got a special mention award and Aramya of XI-C represented Akhilesk Yadav and got the special commendation award.

Bhawan Vidyalaya Chandigarh organized BVCMUN mock session which was held on 21^st and 22^nd of July where Bhairavi of VIII-B who represented Iran, Shambhavi of VIII-B who represented Italy and Gunnet of VIII-B who represented Saudi Arabia in UNGA. All of them got a special mention.

Amisha of VIII-B participated in ECOFEST which was organized by our school and bagged the first position in ‘Funk with Junk’ competition.

Aashi of VI-C won the 1^st position in a National Level Abacus Competition.

Saumya of class VI-C secured the 2^nd position in a National Level Abacus Competition.

Himanshi of  VI-B participated in Judo-Sub Junior State Championship and won gold medal.

Heena Kang of X-D participated in Chandigarh Golf Club Junior Golf Championship and secured the first position.

Anisha participated in the NCC inter group shooting competition of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh directorate which was held from 25^th to 28^th of June and there she won a bronze medal.
