Shri Guru Gobind Singh College organised the SGGSMUN’18 where Bhavika of X-A and Raizel of IX-A got High Commendation.

Following girls from XI - C participated in Entrepreneurs in Making organised by Voorpret on 11^th Nov, 2018 at Chandigarh Club where they had to put up stalls, sell their products and make profits:

A Dance Competition on International level was organised in Thailand from 2^nd to 5^th Nov in which Aashna Bagri of X-D secured the First Position in Solo Amateur Category. She was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 27,000 and she was the youngest Indian and youngest participant to secure a position in the championship. She also secured the First position in the Raj Kala Dance awards which was held on 15^th November in the Tagore Theater Chandigarh and for this she was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 11,000.

A State level Painting Competition was organized by Ministry of Porus Govt of India , which was held on 4^th November, 2018 at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula where Anika of VI-A  won a Consolation prize and was awarded with cash prize of Rs 5000 and Anna Kapur of IX-A won the Second prize  and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 17000 and a medal. Both of them received Rs 2000 as participation initiative along with a Bag, Led bulbs and oil Pastels.

Priyam Aggarwal of VII-B participated in the UT Inter-School CHOI KWANGDO Tournament which was conducted by the U.T Education Department at GMSSS, Sector-49, Chandigarh and secured the Second position.

Harsheen Kaur of VII-C took part in CHD State Roller Skating Championship organized by CHD Roller Skating Association at Skating Rink, Sector 10, Chandigarh from 25^th - 28^th October 2018 where she won the first position in junior Inline Hockey Category and was awarded with a medal and certificate.

Shyran (V-D) and Ananya Ahuja (IV-A) participated in State Federation Skating Championship held at Skating Rink sector 10 Chandigarh from 25^th to 28^th October 2018. They both were rewarded with silver and bronze medals and both of them have been selected to participate in the National Championship to be held at Vishakhapatnam.

Naisha Singla of 6-C took part in Chandigarh State Roller Skating Championship organized by CHD Roller Skating Association at Skating Rink, Sector 10 Chandigarh from 25^th - 28^th October 2018, where she won the third position in Rink Race 1, Rink Race 2 and Road Race 1. She also won the third position in 8-12 years category and was awarded with a medal and certificate .

Vinnati of 8^th A participated in Chandigarh State Roller Skating Championship organized by Chandigarh Roller Skating Association at Skating Rink, Sector 10, Chandigarh from 25^th -28^th October 2018, where she won the first position in Junior Quad Hockey Category and was awarded with a medal and certificate.

Roop Kamal of XI- C took part in Chandigarh State Roller Skating Championship organized by Chandigarh Roller Skating Association at Skating Rink, Sector 10, Chandigarh from 25^th -28^th October 2018, where she won the second position in Senior Quad Hockey Category and was awarded with a medal and certificate.

The U-17 Football team participated in C.B.S.E Cluster Northzone II Girls Football Tournament  (U-17) held at P.M.L.S.D Public School from 20^th to 22^nd October, 2018 and secured the second position. They were awarded with medals and certificates:-

Bhavika Gulati of Class III-A participated in the Champions National Level Abacus Competition held on 14^th October 2018. It was organised by Champions World. She Secured 3^rd position in category ‘A’. She was awarded with a trophy and an appreciation certificate by Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal in an award function held on 24^th Nov 2018.
