Description: Music is the essence of life, and Music Day is about realizing the power of music and sharing it with others.
The first International Music Day was celebrated on the day of Summer Solstice in 1982. The event took place in Paris at Fête de la Musique. Jack Lang, a French politician, conceptualized the idea of commemorating World Music Day.
This day is designated to pay tribute to music, something which plays a significant role in everybody's life.
