Myra Puri of class 8B won the first prize in Inter School Poster making contest held on 16th September at Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36B, Chandigarh. She was felicitated with a trophy and a certificate. The contest was organized by Yuvsatta, an NGO, in collaboration with Department of Environment, Chandigarh Administration on the occasion of World Ozone day. The theme was Montreal Protocol: fixing the ozone layer and reducing climate change and the aim was to spread awareness among the young students about the importance of ozone shield, its gradual depletion and the need to search for possible solutions to preserve it.
