Shambhavi Sinha of Class X-A secured second position in the Punjab circle of the 'Upto 18 years’ - Envelope category of the National Letter Writing Competition held under the “Dhai Akhar Campaign” on the topic - “Dear Bapu you are immortal” held in October last year. She was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- by Senior Post Master, Chandigarh division today. Her letter was selected from among the whopping 23,858 letters received by the department. She also qualifies for the National round.

Krishvika of IX-D bagged third prize in an Online Poster Making Competition organized by Sahayata Charitable Welfare Society on account of “World No Tobacco Day”, which is celebrated every year on 31st May. She was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1000/- in the category of classes 9th - 12th.

Some of the students of the Primary Wing participated in various Inter-School Competitions as a part of “Auro Expressions” held at Sri Aurobindo School, Chandigarh on 18^th February, 2020. Their achievements are:

• Inayat Mittal (UKG-B) participated in JAM (just a minute) Competition and won a consolation prize.
• Samaira Gupta (I-C) participated in Rhythm & Rhyme Competition and won the first prize. She was also awarded a special prize by the Principal of the school for her excellent recitation skills.
• Samaira Arora (II-D) participated in “Budding Story Tellers”. She also won the first prize.

Samaira Sharma (II-C) participated in the Servo Inter-Media Athletics Championship held at Sports Club, Sector-7, Chandigarh on 9th February, 2020. It was organised by Chandigarh Press Club. She won a bronze medal in the 50m race.

Some of the students of class V participated in an Inter-School Wall Hanging Making Competition held at Mount Carmel School, Sector-47, Chandigarh on 1st February, 2020. They brought laurels to the school by winning the top three positions.

Payal & Anika of class VII-A stood first and Ishanvi & Yuvika of class VII-A bagged the second position in Hand Painting Competition held at Mount Carmel School on 31^st January, 2020.

Aanya Garg (V-C) brought laurels to the school by winning the Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2019. She has been awarded with a scholarship amount of Rs. 25000, a trophy and a scholarship certificate. Aanya is among the 50 winners from different schools in tricity.

Archer, Tanishka Sareen of VII-D won laurels in Archery. She attained the title of “Overall Champion” by securing first rank in 65 SGFI National Archery Tournament held at Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. She bagged a gold medal in 30 metres and a silver medal in 20 metres and thus bagged the overall gold medal by securing 678 points in both the rankings.

Our school band participated in the Republic Day Function and secured the second position and received a trophy.

Dhruvika Dheer (V-C) participated in the Panjab University Talent Hunt Tournament of Lawn Tennis in the U-12 Girls Singles Category. It was held on 26th January, 2020 at Panjab University, Chandigarh. She brought glory to the school by winning the Runners up Trophy.

Heena Kang (XI-C), Ceerat Kang (VII-C) and Jiah Kang (VII-D) participated in the Champion of Champions, Golf Tournament held at Panchkula Golf Club on 24^th January, 2020 and secured the first positions in their respective categories. They qualified for golf tournament to be held in Flogas, Ireland.

Jiana Kumar (II-D) participated in the 9th National Field Indoor Archery Championship 2019-20 held at Agra. It was organised by Indoor Field Archery Association. She represented Chandigarh in the Under-10 Recurve Bow Team Event and won a gold medal.
