Description:
An exhaustive webinar on POCSO act was organized for the staff members by Rev. Sr. Arti and the management today. Mrs. K. Sunita Seshadri, Deputy Director, National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development Regional Centre, Mohali impressed on the need to be vigilant and identify the behavioural changes in children. Dr. Monica, Assistant Director, NIPCCD, sensitized the staff members about all the aspects of POCSO Act.
This act aims at providing protection to children from sexual assault, sexual harassment offences and safeguarding the interests of the child at every stage of the judicial process.
