Description:
Rev. Sr Lucy, Sr Arti and Sr Kusum unfurled the tricolour on the occasion of Republic day. The foggy morning was not a dampener for the Republic Day celebrations at Sacred Heart. In fact a gentle reminder of the dark night of intense struggle undergone by our freedom fighters and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. The campus resonated with patriotic fervour and animated cries of “Vande Matram”, “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Jai Hind”. Rev. Sr Arti congratulated and motivated everyone to spread goodness around by doing good deeds. The celebrations were marked by patriotic songs, breathtaking dance performances and speeches. The mentors too raised the patriotic tempo with their heart touching performance on “Lehra do parcham”. The celebrations culminated with the national anthem presented in sign language by the Heartians.
